English Country Dancing – 1st & 3rd Sundays

Terri and Dennis Whieldon will lead us through the steps of English Country Dance in our Fellowship Hall from 3 to 5 pm Sunday, Sept. 7 and then continuing on the first and third Sundays of each month. No partner is necessary and no experience is required. This was a popular social dance in England and its colonies from the 1600s to the early 1800s. A movie based on a Jane Austen novel might be one place you have seen English country dance. Come live some history while you get out and move! This is an outreach program so definitely invite your friends.
